I attached a fact sheet comparing Bitcoin blockchain specs to AZ Money specs. Also included below. Anything that can be added/updated or recommended please do.
Bitcoin
Supply 21,000,000 coins
Consensus Mechanism POW (proof of work)
Genesis Block January 3, 2009
Fully Distributed January 3, 2140 (estimated)
Divisible by 100,000,000 satoshis ($ATS) = 1 BTC
Current block reward 6.25
Block time 10 Minutes
Halvings Every 4 Years
Block size Weight Limit (1-4 MB)
AZ MONEY
Supply 7,637,625 coins
Consensus Mechanism POW (proof of work)
Genesis Block February 14, 2023
Fully Distributed By February 14, 2028
Divisible by 100,000,000 saguaros (SAGZ) = 1 AZ Money Coin
Current Block Reward 15
Block Time 2 Minutes
Halvings Yearly
Block Size Weighted Limit (Legacy = 100KB)
After all the AZ Money coins are distributed, @ Block #1,314,000, there is a permanent cap (7,637,625) on the total number of coins. It is at this block where the chain will be hardforked to a Bitcoin Sidechain. It will be modeled after the RSK sidechain with all its smart contract features. It may even be desirable, if technically possible, to first hardfork to the RSK sidechain followed by another hardfork to its own Bitcoin sidechain when ready. When the time comes, this decision will be left to the AZ Money technical community, which is anticipated will come together. However, it will be critical that the initial desired solution be in place before the hardfork block arrives.
